A podiatrist specialises in diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions. They can also help prevent foot problems and provide advice on foot care. Podiatrists tend to focus more on the gait analysis and prescribe orthotics. Whereas a FHP treats infections, ingrowing toe nails, corns and calluses.
